Oreyome the Oracle

The Oreyome oracle is a personal divination App based on the spiritual principals embodied in the ancient African traditions of Yoruba people reflected in Orisha (Orisa), Santeria, and Candomblé practices. These traditions recognize that one’s Guardian Angel, and Ancestors are significant beneficial influences in the individual’s life, and able to: provide answers to life’s confusing questions, provide direction and protection, and keep the individual on their path toward personal prosperity and peace of mind. The Oreyome oracle uses the Ancestral and Guardian Angel force to tap into and reveal the predictive positive and/or negative energies associated with life events, permitting the individual to make informed decisions that are in their best interest.

The word Oreyome figuratively means, ORI saved me. Within the Yoruba culture the belief is held that in the individual’s heaven or superconscious world resides an entity called ORI, which oversees the individual’s existence from the spiritual dimension. The Ori was with the soul as it chose the lessons to be learned during its incarnation, thus it was witness as the soul chose its destiny. ORI practically speaking, is that aspect of universal intelligence that resides in man, guiding and protecting him, some in the West might associate the ORI with notion of “guardian angel.”

For those individuals who practice the African rituals based on Yoruba, Santeria and/or Ancestral Reverence, as well as other African worldview-based rituals, Oreyome is not intended to be a substitute for the priest and priestesses who practice within those disciplines. However, the oracle has been developed for anyone who may want to be informed of the cosmological energies attached to the various events and situations that may occur in their life. Oreyome may also be a convenient guide for those individuals who do not have ready access to traditional priest and/or priestesses, and for those individuals, who for whatever reason, in offering tribute to the African spiritual forces choose not to include animals in their practice. Finally, the oracle is intended for personal entertainment and not intended to diagnosis or treat medical conditions, psychological and/or social situations.

Oreyome is a divination oracle that when used correctly, will enrich your life. The oracle is based on the West African system of spirituality that is rooted in the Yoruba tradition. The creator of Oreyome, Dr. Ifadarefumi Zannu, a/k/a Hugh A. Turner, is a clinical psychologist who discovered the tradition in the United States and was initiated to Ifa in Ode Remo Nigeria.
